Most gym tanks get the armhole wrong. Cut too shallow and your shoulders are trapped. Cut too deep and you cannot wear it anywhere but the gym floor.
We went with a medium basketball-jersey depth — around 11 inches on a size M. Enough opening for presses, pulls and overhead work. Clean enough to walk out in.
